..I just noticed this in Cam’s room

..kinda reminds me of what was in the kids class at school ..

..not too much happening around here .. oh ..other than a sh*tload of hay ..

.. hubby cut about 35ha of hay a couple of days ago …

(I have no idea how much that actually is other than it took him the whole day to cut .. and it was a sh*tload of paddocks .. and everywhere I Iook I can see hay cut..)

.. today it was time to start getting it baled ..
(much to the excitement of 3 little people in this house)

..the baler started ..

..busy bees ..

..the kids all rugged up and watched from the side of the bank ..lol

..then the boys did the bloke-y thing and went down to the shed to find out all the goings on ..

..within the hour, rowed up, baled, lifted on to the trailers and put away in the shed ..
..one paddock down .. ummm .. quite a few left to go ..

..all of the kids stationery I ordered online arrived in the mail this morning

(yay for Officemax & free delivery)
.. and by 10am it was sorted,

covered (yay for EZcovers.co.nz)

and named all ready for school ..

 

.. also had the weekend off ..

.. literally ..

….hubby sent me off for a "weekend" away by myself to give me a break and try and shake off this lurgy

.. I stayed in a motel for a night

(I was a cheapie

..coz I didn’t really want to spend a lot of money ..)
.. had a cr@ppy sleep coz nothing is like sleeping in your own bed .. typical ..lol

.. but I watched DVD's

and read my book for the afternoon,

.. took myself out for dinner

(Carlsberg, Chicken Fettucine and Garlic bread)

 

and was great sleeping in until 8am ..

 

.. I missed the kids too much and came home the next day –

- sook I am ..

.. but before I did went and looked at vacuum cleaners (exciting-not ..lol)

.. went shopping and brought a cool top for my sisters wedding in Feb

..and most importantly found

.. some new walking shoes

(on special for $19.95 from $60 - score)

.. my old ones were soooo old ..

and I found a huge hole in the bottom last week

- no wonder I was getting soggy socks ..lol.. ..

 

Anyhoo .. was lovely ..

.. I’m still coughing and spluttering .and feel a bit crappy ... but onwards and upwards ..

 

(there are heaps of other things I could write about .. but these were at the top of my brain this morning ..lol)
